About Us

This is the online home of Rick and Sarah Scully. It is a place were we share a little bit of ourselves with friends, family, and even some strangers. The site is made of up a variety of pages that hold our writings, our pictures, etc. The weblog is mostly made up of our observations as a married couple, and our 2005 move to Vermont to try a new life on for size. The current weblog starts with the first entry Rick wrote after meeting Sarah at Atomic Billiards in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Washington, DC. While we are very much alike, and share so much, we are also individuals:

About the site

Terrapin Gardens?

As mentioned above, Rick is a DeadHead and also graduated from the University of Maryland. The Grateful Dead released an album titled Terrapin Station in 1977. The University of Maryland's mascot is the terrapin. Rick has always loved terrapins and other turtles. That's really all there is to it.
